Austria 10-day vignette online
Digital motorway pass for Austrian Autobahn and Schnellstraße — ideal for holidays and transit up to ten days.
AllVignette is an independent online service. We are not ASFINAG or any other national toll operator. The service fee is included in the price shown. We purchase the official e-vignette from the national operator and send confirmation to your email.
Who is the 10-day vignette for?
The 10-day vignette suits weekend trips, one-week holidays, and multi-day transit through Austria — the most popular choice for tourists driving to Italy, Slovenia, or Croatia via the Brenner or Tauern corridors.
It is valid for ten consecutive calendar days from the start date you choose (until 23:59 on the last day). Motorcycles use a lower tariff; select motorcycle at checkout if applicable.
When does it start?
The digital 10-day vignette activates on the start date you select at purchase — for same-day travel you can choose today.
Unlike 2-month or annual ASFINAG products sold to private consumers, there is no 18-day waiting period for the 10-day pass.
What it covers
All standard ASFINAG motorways and expressways where a vignette is required — the same network as the 1-day and annual products.
Camper vans and cars up to 3.5 t are covered under the car category. Check vehicle type at checkout if you drive a motorcycle.
What is not included
Section tolls: Brenner (A13), Arlberg tunnel (S16), Karawanken, Tauern (A10), Gleinalm, and similar routes require separate payment.
Distance-based toll for trucks over 3.5 t (GO-Box) is a different system — not sold here.

FAQ — Austria 10-day vignette
Do I need a vignette in Austria?
Yes. Every vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes using Austrian motorways (Autobahn) or expressways (Schnellstraße) must have a valid vignette. This includes transit trips — even passing through for 20 minutes requires one.
What is the fine for driving without a vignette in Austria?
The substitute toll is €120, payable on the spot. If not paid, penalties can escalate up to €3,000. Automatic cameras scan license plates, so getting caught is essentially guaranteed.
How fast does the digital vignette activate?
The 1-day and 10-day digital vignettes activate immediately after purchase. Unlike the 2-month and annual versions (which have an 18-day legal waiting period when bought directly from ASFINAG), short-term vignettes are usable right away.
Does my vignette cover the Brenner Pass or Arlberg Tunnel?
No. Several special routes require additional tolls: Brenner Pass (A13), Arlberg Tunnel (S16), Karawanken Tunnel, Tauern Tunnel, Pyhrn Autobahn. These are paid separately at toll stations. The regular vignette covers the rest of the network.
Can I use the vignette if I change my license plate?
No. The digital vignette is linked to a specific license plate number. If you change plates (new car, new registration), you need to purchase a new vignette. Store your confirmation email — you may need it to claim a partial refund from ASFINAG in case of a total loss.
Do motorcycles need an Austrian vignette?
Yes. Motorcycles need their own vignette (at a reduced rate). The digital version is linked to the plate, so it works the same way as for cars.
