tchèque dálniční známka expliqué
Since 2021 the tchèque autoroute vinjeta is digital only — registered to your plate and country.
AllVignette je neodvisna spletna storitev. Nismo ASFINAG ali drug nacionalni operater cestnin. Storitvena provizija je vključena v prikazano ceno. Uradno e-vinjeto kupimo pri operaterju in pošljemo potrditev po e-pošti.
Who must buy
Cars and vans jusqu'à 3,5 t on avtoceste and marked voies rapides. Motorcycles and remorques are exempt.
Light car plus remorque under 3.5 t combined still needs one vinjeta on the car's plate.
Eco and CNG tariffs
Reduced rates for natural gas / biomethane and eligible plug-in hybrids — select the correct fuel category.
Pure electric exemption requires official registration, not a standard purchase here.
Prague ring (D0)
Most D0 sections require a vinjeta; a few short segments are free. Follow autoroute signage.
FAQ — tchèque vinjeta
Do motorcycles need a Czech vignette?
No. Motorcycles, trikes, and trailers are exempt from the Czech vignette requirement. If you're riding a motorcycle through Czechia, you do not need to buy anything.
What is the fine for driving without a Czech vignette?
Fines can reach up to ~CZK 20,000 (≈€820). Misuse of exemptions (e.g., driving an unregistered electric vehicle on a claimed exemption) can trigger higher penalties up to €6,900.
Is the Czech vignette fully digital?
Yes, since 2021. No physical sticker — the vignette is linked to your license plate and country of registration. Enforcement is camera-based across the motorway network.
How fast does the vignette activate?
If you pay by card, the vignette is valid immediately upon payment confirmation. You can also choose a future start date (up to 3 months in advance).
Do electric vehicles pay less?
Yes. Fully electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles are exempt but must register for an exemption with the Czech authority. Natural gas and plug-in hybrids get reduced rates.
Does the Czech vignette cover the city bypass around Prague?
Most of the D0 (Prague Ring) requires a vignette. A few short sections near the city are toll-free. Use official route signs — if a "motorway" or "expressway" symbol is shown, the vignette is required.
